One in three people has a food sensitivity, and in children, one in 13 has a life-threatening food allergy. Roughly 33% of U.S. households manage a food sensitivity or severe food allergy, impacting 110 million Americans directly and indirectly (FoodInstitute.com).
I suggest ways to customize menu items, usually by dropping or switching something, to avoid common allergies like dairy, wheat, soy, eggs. Then the restaurant owner can use this info to create a separate menu for food allergies, listing icons and modifications.
